As part of his business trip to the United States, Minister of Digital Technologies Sherzod Shermatov held a meeting with Bruce McClelland, President and CEO of Ribbon Communications, and Leon Tylevich, President of Ribbon in Eastern Europe and Central Asia.

During the meeting, the parties signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at strengthening cooperation in the telecommunications sector and enhancing cybersecurity capabilities in Uzbekistan.

The document outlines the next practical steps to deploy an anti-spoofing system within Uzbektelecom’s networks and to develop and implement advanced cybersecurity solutions designed to safeguard digital communications infrastructure.
