The purpose of the meeting was to introduce the banking sector to the dynamics of the development of the startup and venture ecosystem in Uzbekistan.

At the meeting, representatives of AloqaVentures and IT Park provided an update on the measures taken to develop the startup ecosystem. They also discussed the principles of venture investment and the benefits of startup projects to banks. Recommendations were also made on the implementation of innovative products in the banking industry.

For reference: AloqaVentures is a venture fund established in 2021 by Aloqabank, a joint-stock commercial bank, was created with the objective of investing in innovative and promising startup projects. The fund's objective is to create modern technological solutions in collaboration with companies, startup projects, and their partners. This will enable the fund to achieve global success and become a leader in digital transformation.

Furthermore, attendees were briefed on the IT Park's activities, the opportunities created for resident companies, and the initiatives underway to enhance IT exports. Additionally, UZINFOCOM's operations were showcased in detail.

Starting from next week, we will be organizing meetings with major banks in our country to introduce promising startup projects. These meetings will also discuss the possibility of attracting investment and integrating products with the banking system.
