During the meeting, the parties discussed the development of telecommunications infrastructure across Central Asia and the Middle East, as well as opportunities for deeper technological and infrastructure integration. Particular attention was given to Uzbekistan’s strategic position as a platform for regional cooperation.

The e& delegation presented information on the company’s global operations, international market experience, and priority areas in telecommunications and digital services.

Minister Sherzod Shermatov outlined the reforms implemented in Uzbekistan in recent years to modernize telecommunications infrastructure, accelerate digital transformation, and create favorable conditions for international investors.

As part of the visit, the delegation was introduced to the activities of IT Park, as well as projects implemented by the Single Integrator — UZINFOCOM. The presentation covered the results achieved in deploying digital solutions in public administration and service delivery, along with priority objectives for positioning Uzbekistan as a regional and global IT hub.

At the conclusion of the meeting, both sides confirmed their readiness to continue dialogue aimed at expanding mutually beneficial cooperation, advancing joint initiatives and projects, and strengthening regional digital connectivity.
