Women’s Participation and Employment in the IT Sector Supported Through Digital Training Initiative

The project is aimed at strengthening women’s competencies in information technologies, providing professional mentoring support, and facilitating their employment in the IT sector.
Within the initiative, participants selected through a competitive process completed a specialized seven-week training program. The course provided advanced theoretical knowledge and hands-on experience in Database Engineering.
The curriculum covered core IT fundamentals, web and application server infrastructure, preparation for recruitment processes in global technology companies, networking and information security, startup and investment fundamentals, as well as resume and portfolio development, certification preparation, and project presentation skills. Participants also worked collaboratively on a team project titled InnovAItion Group Project.
The project was completed successfully. Rizayeva Muslima, Ochildiyeva Jasmina, Khadzhiyeva Diana, Rustamova Nozima and Nuriddinova Amina successfully graduated from the program. Four participants secured employment before the completion of the course, while one participant was employed shortly after graduation.
Mentorship Support
Throughout the program, participants received mentoring from experienced IT professionals, including individual consultations on technical development, project work, career planning and employment pathways.
Course mentors included:
• Khurshidbek Kurbanov — Founder of the InFocus.uz educational program, Engineering Lead and IT specialist with more than 10 years of experience. Master’s degree graduate of Tech University of Korea. Professional experience includes Paybek, PDP Academy and Hanpass.
• Aziz Murtazayev — Founder of the InFocus.uz educational program, Engineering Lead and IT specialist with more than 15 years of experience. Master’s degree graduate of Ajou University. Professional experience includes Hupo, Facebook and Samsung.
• Mukhammad Rakhimov — Founder of the InFocus.uz educational program, Fintech innovator and IT specialist with more than 10 years of experience. Master’s degree graduate of the Korean National University of Transportation. Professional experience includes SentBe, Hanpass and Paybek.
The Ministry of Digital Technologies continues to support initiatives aimed at strengthening women’s participation in the digital economy and encourages women to actively utilize the opportunities being created in the IT sector.
