Minister of Digital Technologies Sherzod Shermatov held a meeting with Mr. Mei Zhonghua, Senior Vice President of “ZTE Corporation”.

During the meeting, the future activities of ZTE's BPO remote service center, the status of the data center project, and the next stages of cooperation were discussed in detail. In addition, the parties discussed cooperation in the field of telecommunications, including the expansion of mobile and wired Internet networks, improvement of the quality and speed of communications, coverage of remote settlements with communications, and further expansion of the capabilities of "Uzbektelecom".

The activity of data centers was also thoroughly examined. In particular, the Minister highlighted the establishment of the "Green" Data Center by the Saudi Arabian company “Datavolt” within the IT Park Uzbekistan.

Proposals were made to cooperate with ZTE to expand the direction of data centers, accelerate the progress of existing projects and expand the activities of the BPO service center established with the company.
