During the negotiations, the parties discussed prospects for modernizing telecommunications infrastructure in Uzbekistan, developing computing infrastructure based on artificial intelligence, and implementing modern data center projects designed to process large volumes of data.

The sides also exchanged views on opportunities for further development of digital infrastructure, expansion of high-speed data transmission networks, and advancement of the digital economy through the introduction of cloud services and artificial intelligence technologies.

In addition, the meeting addressed potential models aimed at supporting the development of the telecommunications market and increasing the revenues of telecom operators.

Representatives of Huawei highly appreciated the reforms being implemented in Uzbekistan to develop digital infrastructure and expressed their readiness to further expand technological cooperation with the country.

Following the meeting, Minister Sherzod Shermatov visited the exhibition stand of Huawei. The stand showcased modern solutions for data centers, high-performance artificial intelligence computing infrastructure, large-scale data processing platforms, and technologies designed for intelligent management of telecom networks.

In particular, detailed information was presented on solutions based on the “Intelligent WAN” technology, aimed at enabling intelligent network management, optimizing data traffic distribution, and strengthening cybersecurity.
