Bekabad Innovative Youth IT Center Opens to Support Young Talent and Startup Development

The event was attended by the Minister of Digital Technologies, Sherzod Shermatov; Bekabad district khokim Zokirjon Nizomiddinov; Chairman of the Supervisory Board of IT Park Uzbekistan Farhod Ibragimov; and the General Director of IT Park Uzbekistan, Abdulahad Kuchkarov. Foreign guests also participated in the ceremony, including James Wanger, head of the U.S. company Silk Road Professionals.
During the event, participants received detailed information about the startup ecosystem, the stages of developing innovative projects, opportunities in the IT sector, and the fundamentals of launching entrepreneurial initiatives. Interactive discussions were also organized on topics such as IT literacy, robotics, the development of innovative ideas, and the presentation of startup projects.
The newly established “Bekabad Innovative Youth IT Center” will serve as a platform for young people to acquire modern knowledge and skills, develop innovative IT projects, and implement startup initiatives. Training programs at the center will cover several areas, including programming fundamentals, English for IT, computer literacy, robotics, and the basics of startup and innovative entrepreneurship.
These courses are designed to create opportunities for young participants to master modern technologies and gain practical skills in developing and implementing their own startup projects.
As part of the event, participants of the incubation program organized by the Tashkent region branch of IT Park presented their startup initiatives. During the pitch session, the following projects were introduced:
1. “Joymee” — founded by Javohir Kabirzhanov
2. “Med Mopp” — founded by Mehruza Sultonova
3. “USD System” — founded by Bekpolat Kenjoev
4. “Agro Trade” — founded by Mehruza Sultonova
5. “Orzu Reja” — founded by Zebo Shirinbekova
The projects presented innovative solutions across several sectors.
During the ceremony, startup founders who successfully completed the incubation program organized by IT Park Tashkent region were also awarded certificates and commemorative gifts.
Among the participants was 11-year old startup founder Zebo Shirinbekova, whose project “Orzu Reja” attracted significant interest from the event’s guests.
In the future, the center is expected to serve as a foundation for the establishment of new IT companies, the expansion of IT service exports, and the preparation of young specialists from the region for participation in the international IT market.
