During his working visit to the USA, Minister of Digital Technologies Sherzod Shermatov met with Allison O'Brien, Managing Director of Government Affairs at Oracle.

The meeting included a detailed discussion on the Uzbekistan 2030 Strategy for digital transformation, attracting direct investment to the country, and the cloud technology market.

The parties considered opportunities for widespread implementation of cloud services not only in Uzbekistan but throughout Central Asia. It was noted that this, in turn, would serve to accelerate the development of the digital economy, increase the export of IT services, and support the local startup ecosystem”.
