The project is being implemented with the financial support of the Islamic Development Bank, in close collaboration with the Ministry of Digital Technologies and international partners, including the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP).

The initiative's primary goal is to unlock the intellectual potential of women in remote areas and strengthen their role in the digital economy — in line with the national strategy to establish Uzbekistan as a leading regional IT hub.

Speaking at the ceremony, Kamola Sobirova, Advisor to the Minister of Digital Technologies, along with representatives of the UN and the Islamic Development Bank, emphasized that inclusive programmes of this kind serve as a key driver of innovation and sustainable economic growth.

This project, which combines education, innovation, and entrepreneurship, will directly contribute to more women entering the STEM field, building successful businesses, and contributing to the country's digital and economic development.
