Uzbekistan–Japan Cooperation in Artificial Intelligence Enters a New Stage

The discussions focused on expanding collaboration across several key areas:
- Implementation of artificial intelligence solutions in public administration, healthcare, agriculture, finance, and education
- Joint development of research initiatives, pilot projects, and innovative programs
- Capacity building, professional exchange, and development of educational programs in AI
- Support for startup ecosystems and expanded access to national GPU computing infrastructure.
The Nippon Foundation also expressed readiness to provide practical support in the following areas:
— Facilitating entry of Uzbek AI startups into the Japanese market
— Providing access to computing infrastructure for AI startups
The meeting marked an important step toward strengthening international cooperation in artificial intelligence, promoting an innovative ecosystem, and accelerating the adoption of advanced technologies.
