The discussions focused on further development of telecommunications infrastructure, expansion of mobile communication networks, and improvement of the quality of digital services provided to the population.
The parties emphasized the importance of strengthening cooperation in building modern infrastructure, expanding internet coverage, and ensuring high-quality communication services, taking into account the growing demand for digital services in the country.

Particular attention was given to the development of internationally compliant data centers in Uzbekistan, enhancement of network management and monitoring systems, and the introduction of advanced technologies.

The meeting also covered VEON’s investment activities in Uzbekistan’s digital economy, the implementation of innovative solutions, and prospects for expanding bilateral cooperation in the telecommunications sector.

In addition, preparations for the international event GSMA M360 Eurasia, scheduled to be held in Samarkand on May 20–21, were discussed.
