Uzbekistan and Poland Discuss Advancing Cooperation in Digital Transformation and Cybersecurity

During the visit, the delegation was presented with an overview of the activities of the Ministry of Digital Technologies and IT Park Uzbekistan, including measures aimed at developing the national IT industry, expanding export-oriented digital services, and supporting the startup ecosystem through favorable tax and infrastructure conditions.
The delegation also got acquainted with the operations of Ustudy IT Academy and the Single Integrator UZINFOCOM.
Subsequently, a meeting was held with Oleg Pekos, during which the parties discussed expanding bilateral cooperation in information and communication technologies, as well as creating new opportunities for students and young professionals.
The parties also agreed to enhance cooperation in supporting startups and innovative projects, develop business ties, and establish a joint working group.
The Polish side shared its experience in delivering more than 3,000 digital public services and highlighted parallels with platforms such as my.gov.uz.
The Polish delegation highly appreciated the rapid progress of digital transformation in Uzbekistan, noting that the modern IT ecosystem established in the country demonstrates strong potential for further development.
The meeting marked an important step toward elevating bilateral cooperation between Uzbekistan and Poland in the fields of digital transformation, innovation and cybersecurity.
