Minister Holds Open Dialogue with Youth at Tashkent State University of Economics

The initiative, introduced by the Head of State, designs every Thursday as “Youth Day” across ministries, agencies and regions, aiming to strengthen systematic and open engagement with young people.
At the outset of the event, the Minister reviewed innovative projects and technological developments presented by students. These included 3D printing solutions, robotics applications, unmanned device prototypes and various scientific developments. The practical orientation and strong interest of participants in advanced technologies were noted, while recommendations were provided on further development, implementation and commercialization of these projects.
The meeting continued in an open dialogue format, where participants shared their ideas, initiatives and perspectives. Discussions focused on key areas such as the digital economy, fintech, the development of financial technologies, and the digitalization of economic processes, with particular emphasis on expanding youth participation in these sectors.
Additional topics included in-demand skills in the modern labor market, improving digital literacy, supporting startup initiatives and advancing innovative projects. The parties also considered prospects for developing new initiatives based on proposals put forward by students.
The Minister encouraged young people to remain proactive, continuously acquire modern knowledge and actively contribute to innovation-driven development, highlighting the importance of effectively utilizing the opportunities available.
The meeting is expected to contribute to increasing youth engagement in the digital economy, facilitating their involvement in practical projects and strengthening their competitiveness through the development of relevant skills and competencies.
