The launch event focused on strengthening women’s participation in socio-economic life, reducing structural barriers, and creating equal opportunities within the modern economy.
With an initial budget of €4.9 million, the program aims to:
— improve the digital and financial literacy of at least 1,500 women, including women with disabilities;
— provide more than 3,000 women with professional skills training aligned with labor market demands.
These initiatives align with the Ministry of Digital Technologies’ priorities related to human capital development, expanding women’s participation in the ICT sector, and promoting digital skills. In this regard, the Ministry has been included in a special council established to systematically evaluate and select projects and initiatives planned for implementation during 2026–2028.
The program is expected to contribute to expanding women’s access to education, employment, and entrepreneurship opportunities, strengthening gender equality, and advancing the objectives outlined in the Uzbekistan – 2030 strategy.
