The event was opened by Minister of Digital Technologies of the Republic of Uzbekistan Sherzod Shermatov, who highlighted ongoing reforms aimed at strengthening the startup ecosystem, supporting artificial intelligence technologies and advancing the creative economy.

 In his remarks, the Minister noted the significant progress achieved by Uzbekistan in the fields of innovative technologies and digital entrepreneurship within a short period.  Particular emphasis was placed on the growing opportunities being created for young startups, as well as the importance of international acceleration programs and cooperation with leading global innovation platforms.

 Opening remarks were also delivered by Heather Byrnes, Deputy Chief of Mission at the Embassy of the United States in Uzbekistan, and Sascha Karimpour.

 More than 30 international and regional startups operating in areas such as artificial intelligence, fintech, GameDev, creative technologies, HealthTech and EdTech presented their projects during the exhibition.

 The program also featured panel discussions and presentations involving international experts focused on artificial intelligence technologies, venture investment, the creative economy and the development of innovation ecosystems.

 As part of the event: — international experts delivered presentations and participated in panel discussions;
 — startups conducted pitch sessions for investors;
 — participants discussed prospects for cooperation in innovation and venture investment activities.

 The Plug and Play Uzbekistan program has been implemented since 2022 in cooperation with the Ministry of Digital Technologies and IT Park Uzbekistan, contributing to the development of Uzbekistan as a regional innovation and technology hub.
