The Global Startup Awards Grand Finale, held during the EU-Startups Summit in Malta, has announced the world's top innovators. Out of 14 global categories, representatives from Uzbekistan claimed victories in two major nominations, proving the international competitiveness of our growing ecosystem.

Based on expert evaluation and community voting, the global winners are:

Catextra — Best Greentech Startup of the Year

Rakhimakhon Nugmanova — People’s Choice Award Winner

This global success follows the Regional Finale held in Uzbekistan in September 2025 as part of ICT WEEK, supported by IT Park Uzbekistan. The regional stage set the momentum for our founders to showcase their potential before taking over the world stage in Malta.

These results validate the scalability of local solutions and indicate an increasing readiness of the Uzbek startup ecosystem for international integration.
