Uzbekistan and Finland Expand Cooperation in Digitalization and Telecommunications

During the talks, the parties discussed prospects for expanding bilateral cooperation in the fields of digitalization, telecommunications and cybersecurity.
Particular attention was given to the development of digital infrastructure, the introduction of advanced telecommunications technologies, the training of qualified cybersecurity specialists, and the further improvement of digital public services.
The sides also exchanged views on sharing best practices in digital transformation, implementing innovative technological solutions, and strengthening technological cooperation between Uzbekistan and Finland.
In order to establish a legal framework for long-term cooperation, the parties reached an agreement on signing a memorandum aimed at developing collaboration in telecommunications, cybersecurity, digital technologies and other promising areas.
The noted parties that the expansion of cooperation would contribute to strengthening bilateral ties in the fields of digital economy, innovation and modern technologies.
