Uzbekistan and Finland Discuss Expanding Cooperation in Digital Education

During the meeting, the parties reviewed opportunities for expanding collaboration in vocational education and professional development, strengthening STEAM and inclusive education, and improving the digital competencies of computer science teachers.
Particular attention was given to the implementation of joint initiatives aimed at introducing modern digital education methodologies, improving curriculum and enhancing teacher qualifications based on Finland’s advanced educational experience.
The discussions also covered prospects for establishing student and teacher exchange programs, implementing joint projects in digital education and expanding the integration of innovative technologies into the educational process.
In addition, the parties exchanged views on incorporating Finland’s best educational practices into digital education initiatives currently being implemented in Uzbekistan.
At the conclusion of the meeting, a memorandum of understanding was signed between the Center for the Development of Digital Education and the Finnish National Agency for Education, aimed at strengthening bilateral cooperation in the development of modern digital education systems.
