The startup founded by Kamola Mirjalilova from Uzbekistan has won the regional stage of the Startup World Cup.
The winning startup is Lidavex, a cutting-edge maternal health MedTech company building what it calls the world’s first cervical data infrastructure. Its flagship medical device, CerviLite, uses LiDAR technology to collect critical real-time data during childbirth, enabling advanced AI training for applications in cervical cancer detection, fertility monitoring, and perimenopause care.
The startup is already backed by leading global players including JPMorgan portfolio programs, Stanford Biodesign, Google, and ULP, and is working in partnership with international healthcare integrator InterSystems.
The competition itself brought together a highly diverse group of founders from different industries and stages of development. According to organizers, the final decision was unanimous — a rare outcome that reflects strong confidence in Lidavex’s vision and scalability. Only 0.4% of participating startups in Startup World Cup advance to become regional champions, making this achievement exceptionally rare and competitive.
During the event, even one of the judges, rapper OG Arabian Prince (formerly associated with Dr. Dre and Ice Cube’s N.W.A.), reportedly expressed interest in potential investment through his Innov8 Capital fund once it launches.
Lidavex also highlighted its enterprise integrations with InterSystems, which connects to a large share of US hospitals, and ongoing discussions with global health initiatives, including collaborations aimed at expanding maternal healthcare solutions in Sub-Saharan Africa.
With this victory, Lidavex will now represent the region at the Grand Finale of Startup World Cup, scheduled for November 6, 2026 in San Francisco, where more than 100 regional champions from around the world will compete for a $1M grand prize backed by Pegasus Ventures.
