This forum, which demonstrates the industrial and investment potential of Uzbekistan, not only helps to increase the investment attractiveness of our country, but also creates new opportunities in the fields of digitalization and telecommunications.
Within the framework of the Tashkent International Investment Forum, an agreement was signed between Amazon Leo, a company from the United States, “UZ-SAT” JV LLCto distribute high-speed satellite internet in the Republic of Uzbekistan.
The Amazon Leo satellite communications network provides high-speed internet connectivity services. Users will be able to access these services not only
in urban areas but also in remote and hard-to-reach settlements and regions where telecommunications infrastructure is limited or unavailable.
For reference: Amazon Leo is powered by a constellation of more than 3,000 satellites, connected by high-speed optical links and communicating with a secure global network of gateway stations, fiber, and internet connection points on the ground. Customers connect to the network using one of three compact, high-performance antennas— Amazon Leo Nano, Amazon Leo Pro, and Amazon Leo Ultra—extending high-speed, low-latency broadband to virtually any location on the planet.
