The "Smart Mahalla" project is being implemented with the aim of digitalizing mahalla governance through modern information and communication technologies, improving the quality of services provided to the population, ensuring security, and establishing effective management in the utilities and social sectors.
Under the project, opportunities are being created to introduce a digital governance system in the mahalla, to receive and monitor citizens' appeals through a unified platform, to manage mahalla security through AI-based video surveillance systems, to promptly detect emergency situations and notify relevant services, to establish real-time monitoring for maintaining public order, to conduct online monitoring of electricity, gas, water, and heating networks in the utilities sector, to identify and promptly resolve malfunctions, to monitor the quality of utility services, and to track temperature, humidity, gas, water pressure, noise, and air quality through IoT-based sensors.
As a result of the full implementation of the "Smart Mahalla" project, the quality and speed of public services provided in the mahalla will improve, the time required to review citizens' appeals will be reduced, disruptions in utility services will decrease, and a high level of security will be ensured within the mahalla.
While reviewing the "Smart Mahalla" project in the Olimpiya mahalla of Urgench, Minister of Digital Technologies Sh. Shermatov offered his proposals and recommendations to the responsible officials on further improving the project for its effective implementation.
