Consideration was also given to prospects for cooperation in artificial intelligence and data centers, alongside an exchange of views on green-energy-based initiatives, including those related to the development of digital infrastructure.

A further matter addressed was the advancement of freelancer potential to a new level, with the sides noting that transforming freelancers from mere service providers into startup founders capable of building their own digital products and companies constitutes an important objective.

To this end, the parties considered ways of bringing the two nations' startup ecosystems closer together, establishing links between venture capital funds and technology entrepreneurs, and pursuing joint digital product development. The development of technological solutions in agriculture, healthcare, and education, with the potential for international market expansion, was identified as a particularly promising area for both countries.

Special emphasis was placed on attracting Pakistani IT companies to Uzbekistan, with the parties reviewing opportunities to encourage such companies to establish operations in the country and to position Uzbekistan as a gateway to the markets of Central Asia and the CIS.

Attention was likewise given to the "Zero Risk" program, designed to attract IT companies, particularly to the regions, under which participating companies may be offered office space for a defined period, the necessary equipment, staff training, reimbursement of costs associated with certain international IT certifications, and access to tax incentives.

The expansion of IT services exports between the two countries was also raised, with the sides underscoring the importance of enabling Pakistani specialists to take part in projects in Uzbekistan, facilitating the exchange of experience with local professionals, and creating favorable conditions for companies from both countries to jointly enter third-country markets.

Following the meeting, a presentation was delivered to the Pakistani delegation on the activities and capabilities of IT Park Uzbekistan, outlining its role in developing the national IT industry, supporting foreign and domestic technology companies, increasing the export of IT services, and fostering the startup ecosystem.

As part of the visit, the delegation additionally familiarized itself with the operations of UZINFOCOM, during which the guests were briefed on the company's major digital initiatives and its experience in developing and implementing modern information systems and digital platforms, as well as on efforts to digitalize public services.

In closing, the delegation was informed of ongoing efforts in Uzbekistan to introduce digital technologies into public administration and citizen services, integrate information systems, and advance the development of digital infrastructure.
