Many young people actively took part in the forum, engaging in conversations, Q&A sessions, and panel discussions with highly experienced IT professionals.

The forum was opened by Deputy Minister of Digital Technologies Rustam Karimjonov. In the first part of the event, representatives of international and local technology companies delivered presentations on the practical applications of artificial intelligence. Larissa Wheatcroft of Coursera presented Uzbekistan's learning outcomes on the platform, while Jason Zhang of iFLYTEK presented AI solutions capable of operating across multiple languages.

The forum also marked the official launch of the AWS Academy program at 12 universities across Uzbekistan. The program will give students the knowledge and practical skills needed in modern cloud technologies and help them develop competencies aligned with international standards.

In addition, the "Heirs of Muhammad al-Khwarizmi" project was launched nationwide across all regions of the country. A panel discussion titled "AI-Native Generation" was also held, focusing on the emerging generation shaped by artificial intelligence and the connection between education and the labor market.

Representatives of international organizations, technology companies, education platforms, and industry experts exchanged views on skills for working with artificial intelligence, preparing young people for new professions, and the impact of technology on the labor market.

The topics raised at the forum represent a continuation of the extensive work being carried out in Uzbekistan to develop artificial intelligence and digital education. In particular, under the "5 Million AI Leaders" project, the aileaders.uz platform was launched, offering free access to more than 100 courses from Coursera, Oracle, Alison, Huawei, and other international organizations. In 2026, 1.8 million young people and civil servants were trained under the project. In addition, 17 books on artificial intelligence were translated into Uzbek and made available on the platform.

Uzbekistan's achievements in AI education are also being recognized internationally. In Coursera's 2026 report on the gender gap in generative AI education, Uzbekistan was recognized as a "Global Leader." Women made up 58.9 percent of Uzbek users enrolled in GenAI courses on the platform.

The "IT-Town" project is also operating in 11 remote and outlying regions of the country. In 2026, more than 2,600 students received free training under the project in areas such as programming, graphic design, 3D printing, robotics, and foreign languages. To support young people's entry into the international labor market, 4.4 billion soums in subsidies were allocated to private training centers under the "IT-Talents" project between 2024 and 2026, enabling 169 young people to receive IT education and find employment with exporting companies. Under the "IT-Talent" project, 18 billion soums were allocated between 2023 and 2026 to cover part of the costs for 4,600 young people obtaining international IT certifications.

Enhancing teachers' knowledge and skills also remains one of the key priorities in advancing digital education.
