Americas RFA Company to Establish IT Center in Uzbekistan

Minister of Digital Technologies, Sherzod Shermatov, conducted a meeting with a delegation from the US-based company RFA.
RFA, now registered as a legal entity in Uzbekistan, is in the process of obtaining residency status in IT Park Uzbekistan. The company has shown particular interest in utilizing the “Zero Risk” program in Chirchik, with plans to employ local talent for the export of digital services to international markets.
During the meeting, discussions focused on exploring additional measures and opportunities to ensure the most favorable conditions for RFA’s operations in the country.
RFA CEO Yohan Kim highlighted the promising opportunities in Uzbekistan, expressing a keen interest in the country’s technological laboratories. He emphasized that Uzbekistan is an ideal location for establishing a new operating office aimed at outsourcing IT projects.
The establishment of the IT center marks a significant development for both parties, presenting new opportunities for attracting foreign investment in Uzbekistan’s IT services sector. It is expected to increase the country’s export potential and create numerous job opportunities. The center will serve as a strategic gateway for RFA's entry into the regional market, increasing the scope of its IT services exports by enhancing Uzbekistan's favorable business climate.
