During his visit to Samarkand, Minister of Digital Technologies Sherzod Shermatov visited “Samled” LLC, a local high-tech manufacturing company, where he reviewed its production capabilities and software development activities.

“Samled” LLC operates in several areas, including the production of modern surveillance cameras, FaceID-enabled turnstiles, the assembly and localization of computer equipment and software, and the digitalization of fuel stations.

Company director Jamshed Sattarov briefed the Minister on “Samled” LLC’s development stages and the results achieved to date.

Initially specializing in the production of loudspeakers, the company has since expanded its operations to manufacture modern surveillance cameras under the “Samvision” brand. The software for these cameras is developed by local programmers in Samarkand, reducing production costs by up to 30 percent compared with comparable products.

In addition, smart turnstiles based on FaceID technology are manufactured, while work is underway to fully localize the production of computer equipment.

Sherzod Shermatov emphasized the importance of consistently expanding the company’s operations not only to meet domestic demand but also to enter foreign markets with its products and software solutions. Particular attention was also given to developing locally produced IT hardware and software solutions, expanding production capacity, and strengthening technological self-sufficiency.
