The discussions focused on expanding cooperation between Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan in information technology, strengthening ties between their IT Parks, and promoting Central Asia’s potential as a unified regional IT space internationally.
The parties emphasized the importance of elevating cooperation between IT Park Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan’s Astana Hub. They noted that, rather than intensifying competition between the two countries’ IT ecosystems, priority should be given to exchanging experience, pooling resources, and developing a mutually complementary model of cooperation.
Particular attention was paid to creating favorable conditions for the joint development of startups and IT companies from both countries, facilitating their entry into each other’s markets, implementing joint projects, and expanding their presence in international markets. These efforts are intended not only to develop the IT ecosystems of Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan, but also to broaden opportunities for the digital technology sector across Central Asia.
The participants also considered ways to promote regional IT companies and startups internationally, attract foreign investors and technology companies to Central Asia, and develop a recognizable regional IT brand.
Opportunities for mutually beneficial cooperation in digital infrastructure, artificial intelligence, data centers, and innovative projects were also discussed.
The meeting reaffirmed the importance of strengthening ties between the IT ecosystems of Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan, implementing joint initiatives, and positioning Central Asia as a regional hub for international technology cooperation, investment, and innovation.
