As part of his visit to the Syrdarya region, Minister of Digital Technologies Sherzod Shermatov visited the newly established IT-City complex and reviewed the conditions created to support young people in mastering modern professions.
This IT-city is equipped with modern technologies, and more than 1,500 young people can gain in-depth knowledge each year in fields such as programming, graphic design, and game development. The city also offers applicants the opportunity to learn English and other foreign languages free of charge.
The Minister visited the classrooms, laboratories, and special rooms dedicated to practical training in the city, emphasizing the importance of providing more opportunities for young people to develop their skills in modern technologies and find employment in the IT industry. He also stressed the significance of these IT centers in helping young people enter the international market.
Furthermore, Minister Shermatov provided relevant recommendations to enhance the effectiveness of IT education. Discussions included the establishment of a Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) center within IT-City, aimed at creating direct employment opportunities for graduates and engaging them in remote work.
