Forum and Job Fair Held for “El-yurt Umidi” Scholarship Holders

A forum was organized for the winners of the 2025 scholarship competition of the “El-yurt Umidi” Foundation in cooperation with the Ministry of Digital Technologies.
The event discussed the reforms being carried out in the field of digitalization in Uzbekistan, the role of talented youth in ensuring their consistent implementation, and prospects for cooperation between the Foundation and the Ministry.
Scholarship holders received detailed information on the procedures for studying and living abroad, as well as the obligations to be fulfilled after completing their studies. Special emphasis was placed on shaping them as patriotic personnel, loyal to the Motherland, respectful of national values, and ideologically and politically mature. The essence of state policy towards youth in the context of New Uzbekistan and the role of young people within it were also widely addressed.
As part of the forum, information was presented on the activities of key organizations within the Ministry of Digital Technologies. A job fair was held with the participation of industry organizations, where scholarship holders were introduced to available employment opportunities.
The presentation of IT Park highlighted large-scale efforts to develop a startup ecosystem, support innovative ideas and projects of young people, attract international IT companies, and expand IT service exports. The benefits created for residents and measures taken to increase exports in the IT sector were also highlighted.
The activities of the Digital Government Project Management Center were also showcased, including initiatives to deliver public services in a convenient, transparent, and efficient manner, strengthen the e-government system, and manage digital transformation projects effectively.
The UZINFOCOM Center presented tasks on ensuring national information security, developing the IT infrastructure of state bodies, and creating a unified state database.
The Agency for Space Research and Technologies outlined Uzbekistan’s initial steps in the space sector, including satellite projects, international scientific research, and initiatives aimed at preparing youth for this promising field.
The Center for the Development of Digital Education presented projects focused on modernizing the educational process using advanced information and communication technologies, expanding distance learning, promoting the widespread use of electronic platforms and resources, and equipping youth with IT skills.
The event concluded with a job fair for scholarship holders, jointly organized by the Ministry of Digital Technologies and its subordinate organizations.
